Diablo 4 has some amazing features that truly allow players to create their characters their own. Whether you're following someone else's build for your Class or you have created your own, you still have the ability to create something unique with your character.
One thing that Diablo 4 allows you to do is to add Aspects to your equipment. These Aspects are modifiers that allow you to turn your Rare items into Legendary items. They add the Legendary qualifiers to these items and can be extremely useful for players who want to become the best that they can be. If you need some tips for Rogues, this guide will help you find out which Aspects to use.
Updated by Erin Rice on July 24, 2023: As Diablo 4 matures, players have uncovered better builds and ways to go about creating Rogues. This update seeks to work with that new information. There are 5 new entries to the list for players who want to have the best Rogue they can build.
25 Vengeful Aspect
This is a pretty great Aspect for Rogues. Its description reads "Lucky Hit: Making an enemy Vulnerable has up to a [30-50%] chance to grant +3% increased Critical Strike Chance for 3 seconds, up to +9%." What makes this great is that if you cause an enemy to be Vulnerable, you will have an increased chance of getting a Critical Strike.
You can find the Aspect's Codex of Power in the Inferno Dungeon in the Kehjistan region. You can also find items that already have the Aspect imbued and extract them from the items that way. Then you can put it on any weapon you want.

24 Toxic Alchemist's Aspect
This is another good option for Rogues wanting an Offensive Aspect. The Aspect's description reads "Lucky Hit: Damaging a Poisoned enemy with a Shadow Imbued Skill has up to a 75% chance to create a toxic explosion that applies [X] Poisoning damage over 5 seconds to the target and surrounding enemies." This is great since a lot of builds use poisons. If you damage a Poisoned enemy with a Shadow Imbued Skill, you have a chance to create a toxic explosion to do damage to all enemies around you.
This Aspect, unfortunately, does not have a Code of Power located anywhere. This means that you'll have to work hard to find an item that has the Aspect already imbued on it. If it does, you can extract it and imbue it on another item.

23 Aspect Of Inner Calm
This is another great option for Rogues in terms of Offensive Aspects. Its description says "Deal [5.0-10]%[x] increased damage for each second you stand still, up to 30%[x]." This is so amazing since you can deal a lot more damage if you're able to stand still while attacking. This isn't too difficult to do as a Rogue.
This Aspect can be found in the Raethwind Wilds Dungeon in the Scosglen region of the game. It can also be found on items that already have the Aspect and extracted from them. This allows you to add them to any item you want.

22 Aspect of Audacity
This Aspect is a newer Aspect in the game. It is available for all Classes in the game. Its description says "When there are at least 5 Close enemies, Stun them for [2-4] seconds. This can only occur once every 20 seconds." This is so great because if you get overrun by enemies, this will help you Stun them. You can then either get away, catch your breath, or attack.
This Aspect is special. It was added in Season 1 of the game, meaning it wasn't in there at the start of the game. In order to obtain this specific Aspect, you will need to progress through the Season Journey with a character.

21 Pestilent Points
This is another Aspect that is amazing for Rogues. This Aspect's description reads "Every third cast of Puncture is Poison Imbued with 100-150% of normal potency." What makes this so great is that Puncture is a Skill that almost all Rogues will use all the time. This will add Poison Imbuement to your Skill every third cast.
This is another Aspect that was added during Season 1 of the game. In order to obtain this Aspect, like the one before it, you must progress through the Season Journey with a character. Eventually, you will be able to unlock this.

20 Rapid Aspect
The Rapid Aspect is a basic Offensive Aspect for Rogues that is actually pretty great. Its description reads "Basic Skills gain [15-30%] Attack Speed." This means that any Basic Skills you use (which will be a lot) will have an increase in Attack Speed. This can mean the difference between life and death since you can attack more often and quicker.
This Aspect is found in the Buried Halls Dungeon, which can be found in the Dry Steppes area of the map. You can also find items with this Aspect already imbued and you can extract it to put it on the item of your choice.

19 Aspect Of Imitated Imbuement
The Aspect of Imitated Imbuement is another Aspect that is a great option for Rogues. Its description reads "Your Shadow Clones also mimic the Imbuements applied to your Skills. Casting an Imbuement Skill grants your active Shadow Clone [8-16]%[x] increased damage for 5 seconds." This makes a solid choice for an Aspect.
What makes this such a great option is that the Skill Shadow Clones is used in a lot of endgame Rogue builds. This will allow your Shadow Clones to do your Imbuement damage and at an increased amount. Unfortunately, this Aspect can only be found and extracted from other items.

18 Aspect Of Branching Volleys
This is another Offensive Aspect for Rogues. The Apsect of Branching Volleys has a description that reads "Barrage's arrows have [15-25]% chance to split into 2 arrows whenever they ricochet." Anytime you use the Skill Barrage, there is a chance your arrow will split and cause even more damage.
This is such a great Aspect since Barrage is another skill a lot of Rogues use. It allows you to do more damage with the Skill. You can find this Aspect in the Shadowed Plunge in Hawezar. You can also extract it from other items.

17 Infiltrator's Aspect
This is an Offensive Aspect that is ideal for Rogues that use the Skill Poison Trap. Its description reads "Poison Trap no longer breaks Stealth and triggers no Cooldown or arm time while you are in Stealth. All Poison Traps activate when you exit Stealth and Poison Trap’s Cooldown will be [5.0 - 8.0] seconds per trap placed." This means that you can stay in Stealth and have no Cooldown. The Traps activate when you leave Stealth.
A large majority of Rogues use Poison Traps as a way to hit multiple enemies at once. This will allow you to lay more Traps in a shorter amount of time. You can find this Aspect on other items and extract it. There is no Codex of Power for the Aspect.

16 Aspect Of Arrow Storm
This Aspect is a great one for Rogues that utilize their bows often. The description reads "Lucky Hit: Your Marksman Skills have up to a 10% chance to create an arrow storm at the target's present location, dealing [X]% Physical damage over 3 seconds. You can have up to 5 active arrow storms." This means that any Marksman Skill you use can create an arrow storm.
What makes this so great is that a lot of Rogues do use Marksman Skills when using a bow. This means that you can do an even greater amount of damage with it. You can find the Aspect at the Howling Warren in Scosglen. It can also be extracted from items.

15 Ravenous Aspect
The Ravenous Aspect is a great Aspect for Rogues. Its description reads, "Killing a Vulnerable enemy grants you (XX)% increased Energy Regeneration for 4 seconds." This is one of the best Aspects for those following a leveling guide for the Rogue.
What makes this specific Aspect so valuable is the fact that it will increase your Energy Restoration. While this may only happen for a short amount of time and the amount depends on your level, this is extremely helpful. Rogues use Energy when they use their Skills. Having this Aspect makes things so much easier. The Codex of Power for this is found in the Shifting City in Dry Steppes or from an item with it.

14 Aspect Of Quickening Fog
This is another great Aspect for Rogues. The Aspect's description reads "You automatically drop a Smoke Grenade at the end of Dash. Dash's Cooldown is reduced by [0.25-0.35] seconds for each enemy this way, up to [0.75- 1.05] seconds." This is a great Aspect for those following the Penetrating Shot build.
What makes this so good is that you're going to use Dash a lot while trying to avoid enemies. Dashing will cause a Smoke Grenade to appear, allowing you more opportunities to escape. This is a great Aspect to have if you find yourself needing to escape or dodge a lot. The only way to obtain this Aspect is by extracting it from another Legendary Item.

13 Aspect Of The Expectant
This Aspect is great for Rogues following any build. The Aspect's description reads "Attacking enemies with a Basic Skill increases the damage of your next Core Skill cast by [5-10]% up to 30%." This can truly help you do some great damage.
What makes this Aspect so amazing is that you will use Basic Skills a ton. Using them will increase the damage done by your next Core Skill, which you will also use a lot. It is a way to add some damage to your build, especially if you don't have much. You can obtain this Aspect in the Underroot Dungeon in Scosglen or by extracting it from an item that already has it.

12 Edgemaster's Aspect
Some players have found that this Aspect is great while playing as a Twisting Blades Rogue. The Aspect's description reads, "Skills deal up to [10- 20%] increased damage based on your available Primary Resource when cast, receiving the maximum benefit while you have full Primary Resource." This can be super helpful if used properly.
What makes this Aspect great is that, depending on how much Energy you have, you can do more damage with your Skills. The Primary Resource is just whatever your class uses to cast Skills. For Rogues, this is Energy. When your Energy is full, you can reach that maximum benefit. This can be obtained by completing the Oldstones Dungeon in Scosglen. You can also find items with this Aspect.

11 Exploiter's Aspect
This is another great Aspect for Rogues. If you use any time of Crowd Control, this one is for you. The Aspect's description is "You have 20% increased Crowd Control Duration. While enemies are Unstoppable, you deal [20-50%]" This makes any build with Crowd Control work well.
What makes this such a great Aspect is the fact that Crowd Controlling is something Rogues often do, depending on the builds. If you have one of these builds, the duration of your Crowd Control will be increased. You won't have to worry about losing that Crowd Control for a longer time. The only way to obtain this Aspect is by finding an item with it.

10 Trickshot Aspect
The Trickshot Aspect is an amazing Aspect for rogues. The Aspect's description says, "Whenever Penetrating Shot damages an enemy. 2 additional arrows split off to either side. These side arrows deal [10-25%] of Penetrating Shot's Base damage and do not split." This Aspect is perfect for people who want to use the Penetrating Shot Skill. Many people choose a Penetrating Shot to build as their final build in the game.
That makes this Aspect amazing. Anytime you shoot your bow using Penetrating Shot, you'll have arrows split and hit other enemies. This can allow you to do more damage to enemies you may not have hit otherwise. You can find it by completing the dungeon called Bastion of Faith. You can also get the Aspect by extracting it from a Legendary item that already has it.

9 Aspect Of Corruption
The Aspect of Corruption is another great Aspect of the Rogue. The Aspect's description is "Your Imbuement Skill effects have [20-40]% increased potency against Vulnerable enemies." You will deal more damage to any enemy that is labeled as vulnerable.
This is a Status Ailment that will allow you to do more damage. Considering you'll already do more damage due to the Status Ailment, this Skill will just do a lot more damage. It is perfect if you are fighting a hard enemy or boss. This Aspect is found within the Renegade's Retreat dungeon, and you can also obtain it by extracting it from Legendary items that have it.

8 Ravager’s Aspect
The Ravager's Aspect is one of the Mobility Aspects in the game. The Aspect's description reads, "Shadow Step has an additional Charge. Killing an enemy with Shadow Step refunds a Charge and increases the damage of Shadow Step by [1-6%] for 2 seconds, up to [5-30%]."
This is a great Aspect for anyone who uses the Shadow Step ability. It will give you another charge of Shadow Step and increase the damage of the skill if you kill an enemy. This will allow you to do more damage to the enemies around you. It is great for crowds. Unfortunately, you cannot find a Codex of Power with this Aspect. You must find it on a Legendary item and extract it.

7 Aspect Of Volatile Blades
The Aspect of Volatile Blades is an Aspect that rogues can equip. It is one of the Offensive Aspects. Its description reads, "Twisting Blades cause an explosion when they return to you, dealing X damage and X additional damage based on the distance the blades travel, up to 5 meters and X total damage."
One of the most popular builds for Rogues includes the Twisting Blades build, and this is the perfect Aspect for that. Twisting Blades allows you to throw blades from a distance. This is an amazing Aspect to pair with this Skill. Not only will Twisting Blades cause an explosion that deals damage, but it also does more damage to enemies depending on how far they travel. It can be found in a dungeon within Scosglen. You can also find an item with the Aspect and extract it from there.

6 Trickster’s Aspect
The Trickster's Aspect is one of the Offensive Aspects. Its description reads, "Caltrops also throw a cluster of Stun Grenades that explode and deal [X] total Physical damage and Stunning enemies for 0.50 seconds."
This is a perfect Aspect for those who use the Caltrops Skill for Rogues. The Caltrops will do damage and slow enemies down. This can stun the enemies entirely rather than just slow them down. It will also help you do more damage to enemies. You can find this Aspect when you complete the Guulrahn Canals dungeon. You can also obtain an item with this Aspect that can be extracted.
