Although we have been treated with Gojo's teleportation technique a few times in the series earlier, there's a chance we never paid attention to it, and a clear explanation of this feat has never been given in the series, including manga. But we might have perfect reasoning for how Gojo makes teleportation work and the limitations of this power.

Can Gojo Use Teleportation?

Can Gojo use teleportation

In Jujutsu Kaisen season 2's fifth episode, Gojo acknowledges his teleportation prowess. However, he humbly admits to its limitations over great distances, highlighting his ongoing quest for its complete mastery. Enhanced by the enigmatic Six Eyes, Gojo's vision surpasses the ordinary, granting him the remarkable capability to effortlessly see with exceptional clarity over distances spanning several kilometers. While it's not confirmed yet, we can assume that Gojo's teleportation limits are at par with his Six Eyes.

In the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gojo maneuvered his teleportation skills while fighting with Jogo. Gojo defeated the malevolent Curse using his godly powers while being the awesome sensei he has always been. Gojo teleported and brought Yuji Itadori to the battlefield to help him understand how the Domain Expansion worked.

In another incident notable in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Gojo used his powers to teleport Panda and Inumaki to Jujutsu High to help Yuta and Rika in the battle. However, this feat was not similar to when Gojo teleported himself. He made some sort of sorcery design on the floor and made the usual hand sign he uses to complete the teleportation process.

Lastly, when fighting against Miguel in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Gojo was almost attacked by a giant Curse; however, before he could smash Gojo like a small fly, Gojo made the hand sign and teleported himself. In the same fight, Gojo teleported again, but this time, not to run away but to confront Miguel. He appeared before the opponent in an instant and thumped him down with multiple back-to-back attacks.

Across three distinct occurrences, Gojo adeptly showcased his command over the Limitless technique. Not only being capable of teleporting himself, but he also demonstrated the ability to transport others alongside him, and intriguingly, he exhibited the skill to teleport individuals. However, some kind of weird sorcery is needed to complete the last feat.

How Does Gojo Makes Teleportation Work?

How does Gojo makes teleportation work

As stated before, an explanation of how Gojo teleports is missing, but given that Gojo can alter time and space, it makes teleportation a valid weapon in his arsenal. Gojo's Limitless has given birth to some really impressive techniques, most notably, Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue, Cursed Technique Reversal: Red, and Hollow Technique: Purple, and teleportation is probably the result of the characteristics of CTL: Blue.

Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue brings the concept of attraction into reality. When Gojo activates Blue, he creates a negative distance between himself and the place he wants to teleport. Since negative distance can never exist, the real distance between Gojo and his destination has to forcibly fill in the void, collapsing the distance between the two and making teleportation a success.

Limitations Of Gojo's Teleportation

Limitations of Gojo teleportation

As confirmed by Gojo himself, his teleportation has limits, and he cannot cover long distances. As assumed by us, maybe his teleportation goes as far as his Six Eyes could see. Secondly, in able to control time and space, both concepts need to be present in reality, right? But what if time and space are eliminated at a certain place? Well, the answer is simple; Gojo cannot distort the concepts not present, and thus he cannot teleport.

That's why Kenjaku came up with the plan to capture Gojo in the prison realm, a place where time and space never existed. While it only seemed like a small harmless box, Gojo was trapped there helplessly. And if it wasn't for his students, Gojo would have been trapped there for infinity. While only nineteen days passed in the actual world, for Gojo, the time would have been a few hundred or million years or maybe just an instant.
