At Mao's apartment, Mao, Chi, and the others discussed their encounter with Farfarello and the others. They feared that defeating Farfarello might result in someone else taking his place, putting Chi at risk as Mao protected her. To prepare, Chi asked Sarue to train her, promising to reconcile him with Mayumi in return. Sarue agreed and began Chi's training.

Meanwhile, the group planned to persuade Farfarello to return to Ente Isla peacefully. During Idea Link practice with Suzuno, Chi became emotional. Later, they met Mayumi, who shared her dreams and canceled Sarue's ban, making Sarue happy.

Mao, Chi, and other participants in the barista training viewed a video in which Erone made an appearance and questioned Mao's desire to rule the world. Mao clarified that it was a routine study session for running the Ente Isla under Demon rule. Erone disappeared, impressed. Later, Chi vanished after doing as Erone had ordered her to do.

Mao told Sarue, Suzuno, and Emi about the circumstance. Chi bravely challenged Farfello and Erone inside a building after Sarue followed her there using his Moon Mirror power. Chi's Idea Link feature allowed Mao and the others to listen in on their talk. Her multifaceted strategy caught them off guard, and Emi speculated that she might have been doing it unintentionally.

Chi explained that Mao's strategy for conquest was to establish a society in which humans and demons were treated equally and shared meals. Emi, Suzuno, and Mao were able to get through Erone's defenses thanks to Sarue's barrier. To Mao's group, Farfello and Chi gave an explanation of their goals, and Mao revealed his scheme to use the money to improve their home planet.

Mao used the energy of Emi and Suzuno, as well as Chi's song, to illustrate how to reclaim his magical ability. Three new generals for the Demon Army have been announced by Mao, according to Farfello. Mao spoke with Emi after Farfello and Erone had left. She was disappointed, but he insisted that his conquest had changed for her good.
