Highlights

  • Gojo and Sukuna engage in brutal hand-to-hand combat while waiting for their energy to replenish, signaling a serious turn in their battle.

Both Sukuna and Gojo reached their limits in the previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, with neither of them being able to use their Domain Expansion anymore. With that, they were left with no choice but to resort to hand-to-hand combat while they wait for their energy supplies to replenish and try to devour each other with their ultimate attacks once again.

The spoilers for the new chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen showcase Gojo and Sukuna's physical prowess while they threatened to kill each other. Once their Cursed Energy is back, the battle will take an even more serious turn, possibly ending the life of one of them.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 231 Spoilers

The chapter will start with Kusakabe asking his mates if any of them have ever been punched seriously by Gojo. Panda replies that Gojo tried to punch him once, but he couldn't. Yuta replied that he got hit by Limitless once, but the attack was not a serious one.

Kusakabe tells everyone that Gojo overlaps the effect of Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue with his fist, which has the power of attracting things, making his punch stronger. It makes his punch feel like getting hit by something really hard, but it is still a normal punch. Kirara asks if Gojo's punch hits hard, to which Yuji and Hakari replied that they threw up after being hit.

Yuji thinks about his time with Nanami, who told him not to compare himself to Gojo if he wanted to become a Sorcerer. Nanami replied, "Long story short, it feels like I can't keep up with his shit." Back to the battle, we see Gojo thrashing Sukuna, and the former makes all the debris around the place sucked with Sukuna, but the latter survives the attacks. Then Gojo tries to crush Sukuna with his feet, but he evades the attack and pulls the same attack on Gojo.

Gojo uses Shadow Clone Technique, and all his clones attack Sukuna at once. But the latter manages to get hold of the real Gojo and punches him hard, which sends him flying. Gojo grabs a traffic light signal and sits on top of it, and recalls how Mahoraga works by adapting to the attack from the opponent when the wheel takes a spin.

Gojo recalls that the wheel turns black when Sukuna uses Domain Amplification, and at that time, Mahoraga cannot adapt to attacks. The reason why Sukuna can use Domain Amplification is because the damaged brain only causes hindrances in using Domain Expansion.

As soon as the traffic light turns green, the battle continues, and Gojo pulls the traffic signal and throws it on Sukuna. But the latter gets a hold of it and throws it back to Gojo. Meanwhile, the Sorcerers wonder how many turns will Mahoraga's wheel take before it adapts to Infinity. As Sukuna and Gojo walk calmly on the road, they discuss that a total of four spins will take, and three spins are currently left. Sukuna laughs at Gojo and states that the three spins are the countdown to wash that smile off his face. Gojo replies with a grin that the same goes for him as well.

Before the chapter comes to an end, Gojo states that he will kill Sukuna before Mahoraga adapts to infinity. Hana seems worried about Megumi, and Kashimo replies that it's alright to forget about him, to which Hana doesn't agree. The editor's comment at the end of the chapter reads, "The countdown for dead or alive begins."
