As excited as fans are about the news, the series' writer seems equally excited to share it, as she released a personal note in the issue confirming the movie. Kohei Horikoshi starts the note by confirming the news about the announcement of the fourth movie, followed by a deep thanks to the fans for all the support they have provided all these years.

Kohei Horikoshi also commented on the forthcoming seasons of My Hero Academia, revealing that studio Bones and Toho are already working on its production. Continuing with the note, she expressed that the announcement of the fourth movie is a surprise for her as well, and it's quite similar to the Dragon Ball movies that were screened every year, which she dearly enjoyed watching in her childhood.

Recalling her past, Kohei shared that she remembers sitting in the cinema with her heart pounding while watching the movie, and now she is happy to return that excitement to the public. Even if at least one of the fans around the world gets excited to see her work, then the new movie will be a success. As suggested in the note, the new project will take place after the events of season six, which hints that it will revolve around Dark Deku. The note ended by awakening curiosity among fans by asking what will Deku and his friends fight and what will they protect in the new movie.

The first movie of the My Hero Academia franchise was released in 2018, titled Two Heroes. Then the second one, titled Heroes Rising, in 2019, and the third one, titled World Heroes' Mission, adorned the screens in 2021. MHA has been quite consistent with its work, whether we talk about the TV series or its movies. And given the content in the manga, we can still expect the franchise to entertain us with a lot more in the coming years.

My Hero Academia is a Japanese manga and anime series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It is set in a world where nearly everyone possesses superpowers known as Quirks. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a Quirkless boy who dreams of becoming a hero like his idol, All Might.

His life changes when he encounters All Might, who passes on his Quirk, One For All, to him. This sets him on a path to attend U.A. High School, a prestigious academy for aspiring heroes. Throughout the series, Deku, as he is fondly called by his friends, faces various challenges, makes friends, and encounters formidable villains.
