After entering early access all the way back in 2020, Baldur's Gate 3 is now finally approaching its full release on PC, with a console release coming later down the line.
While Baldur's Gate 3 was supposed to be available at the very end of August, the developers brought the release date forward for the PC version to avoid sales being affected by Starfield's release. That being said, the PlayStation 5 version was delayed slightly to fill in Starfield's gap for PlayStation fans.

Baldur's Gate 3 Release Date And Time
Baldur's Gate 3 will be released for PC on Thursday, August 3rd, and for PlayStation 5 on Wednesday, September 6th. Baldur's Gate 3 will also be released for Xbox Series X|S, but the exact release date has been delayed indefinitely as Larian Studios is reportedly facing issues when it comes to implementing local co-op.
The PC version of Baldur's Gate 3 will be released at 8AM PT / 11AM ET / 4PM BST on August 3rd, while the release time for Eastern Asian and Oceanian players will be 12AM JST / 1AM AEST on August 4th. A full release schedule can be found in the tweet below:
Baldur's Gate 3 Price And Editions
On PC, Baldur's Gate 3 only has a single standard edition that costs $59.99 USD. There is no pre-order bonus for this version other than receiving access to the early access build, but the developers have previously confirmed that player saves will not be transferred from early access to full release.
The PlayStation 5 version, however, includes a digital deluxe edition along with the standard edition. The former costs $79.99 USD and the latter is priced at $69.99 USD. If you pre-order the digital deluxe edition, you will receive 3 days of early access to the first act of the game on the console, along with all the digital content listed below:
