On one side, Jujutsu Kaisen is treating fans to spectacular new episodes every week; whilst on the other side, the manga is keeping everyone on edge with a heart-pounding battle between Gojo and Sukuna. While the spoilers for the new chapter were published online earlier this week, the time for the chapter's official release is almost upon us.
Sukuna and Gojo are determined to thump each other down once their energy supplies are back, and their chances of winning the battle are almost fifty-fifty, which is seriously nerve-wracking for almost every fan who doesn't want to see Gojo meet his fate.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 231 Release Date And Time
Chapter 231 of Jujutsu Kaisen will be released on Sunday, August 6th, at 8:00 AM PT. Fans can catch it officially on Viz Media and Manga Plus at various times, depending on their respective time zones:

What Happened Previously On Jujutsu Kaisen?
Mei Mei informed everyone about the newly emerged entity called Mahoraga, stating it's the Zenin clan's secret weapon. Choso revealed that Mahoraga possessed the ability to adapt to all kinds of attacks, and Yuji inquired whether it has also adapted to Unlimited Void. In the midst of the battle, Gojo's Unlimited Void was destroyed by Mahoraga, enabling Sukuna to move freely. Surprisingly, it was revealed that Megumi's soul bears the effects of Gojo's Sure Hit, not Mahoraga. Sukuna deliberately made Megumi take the effect of the attack before sending the Shikigami back into the shadows.
Impressed with Sukuna's fierce determination in battle, Gojo admired his fighting style. It was then revealed that Sukuna's intention was to nullify Gojo's Unlimited Void. To achieve this, Sukuna used Ten Shadow Cursed Technique to make Megumi adapt to Gojo's technique. However, Gojo clarified that neither he nor Megumi had fully adapted to Unlimited Void, as only his soul was utilized in the process. If Gojo were to activate his Domain again, Sukuna would have no choice but to summon Mahoraga once more.
During the intense battle, Gojo confidently assured Sukuna that if he summoned Mahoraga again, he would put an end to it once and for all. However, when Gojo attempted to use his Domain, he started nosebleeding, shocking everyone. It became clear that Gojo could no longer use Unlimited Void, as Sukuna revealed that Gojo had overused his powers during the CT recovery process. Exhausted, Gojo knelt on the floor. Sukuna taunted him, vowing to close his Domain with a barrier to prevent any escape.
Having attempted to open his Domain, Sukuna was shocked as Malevolent Shrine was instantly destroyed, causing him to bleed from his nose and eyes. The limited exposure to Unlimited Void had taken a toll on his brain. Witnessing Sukuna's weakened state, Gojo laughed and proudly pointed out his students watching him. Determined to show off, Gojo pulled Sukuna close and delivered a powerful punch to his face.
