Blade is a 5-Star Wind character following The Destruction Path. His abilities will allow him to significantly boost his attack while sacrificing his HP, so knowing how to build him correctly will make or break his effectiveness.

Blade's Best Build & Relic Sets

As most of Blade's damage will come from boosting his ATK and HP, these are the main stats you'll want to focus on, as well as some of the other typical Main DPS stats such as CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. Here are the best Relic Sets to choose for him.

4-Set Of Longevous Disciple

The 2-Set of Longevous Disciple will increase Blade's HP by 12 percent. The 4-Set will increase his CRIT Rate by 8 percent for 2 turns and up to 2 stacks when he is hit or has his HP consumed by an ally. This set is perfect for Blade since he will need to have incredibly high HP to see the full effects of his abilities.

2-Set Of Rutilant Arena

Rutilant Arena will increase Blade's CRIT Rate by 8 percent. When his CRIT Rate reaches 70 percent or higher, his Basic ATK and Skill DMG will increase by 20 percent. Having this set will allow you to boost some of the other important stats for Blade's damage, including his CRIT Rate and Basic ATK and Skill. With these two sets in hand, here are some of the main stats and substats you'll want to pair with each piece.

As you are aware by now, HP will be the best stat for Blade overall. Outside of this, increasing his CRIT DMG, CRIT Rate, and ATK will be beneficial for his overall damage, and SPD will ensure that he can regularly take the field.

Blade's Best Light Cones

As with any Main DPS, you can provide Blade with a Light Cone that'll boost his CRIT Stats or ATK. You can also pick one that will increase his HP since most of his attacks scale on this stat. Here are some of our highly recommended options.

5-Star Light Cone: The Unreachable Side

The Unreachable Side will increase Blade's CRIT Rate by 18 percent and his Max HP by 18 percent. Whenever he is attacked or consumes his own HP, his DMG will increase by 24 percent. This effect is removed after Blade uses an attack. As Blade's signature Light Cone, The Unreachable Side is his best choice if you can get your hands on it. It takes advantage of his HP-depleting abilities, and will increase his damage even further whenever it drops.

4-Star Light Cone: Nowhere To Run

Nowhere to Run will increase Blade's ATK by 24 percent. Whenever he defeats an enemy, he will restore HP equal to 12 percent of his ATK. As ATK is Blade's secondary damage-boosting stat, this Light Cone will be a solid alternative to get his damage up. It will also keep his HP up, so he can stay active on the field.

3-Star Light Cone: Mutual Demise

Mutual Demise will increase Blade's CRIT Rate by 12 percent whenever his HP is lower than 80 percent. If you need a temporary 3-Star Light Cone for Blade, Mutual Demise will be your best option by far. Since his HP will often be relatively low, the boost to CRIT Rate will surely be helpful.

As Blade will most likely be playing the role of your Main DPS, you'll want to bring along a few Support characters to boost Blade's abilities.
